Information
General Assistance
To provide programs which assist Mahaska County Residents
in emergency situations with meeting basic needs such
as medical, shelter, food, and utilities. It is not
intended to provide on-going, long-term aid to any
indivdual and/or family.
Case Management
To provide support and advocacy to persons with disabilities.
Case Management also refers and coordinates services,
accesses funding sources, and monitors on-going needs.
Mental Health and Developmentally Disabled Services/Central
Point of Coordination
This is the entry point for accessing county funds
for services for persons with mental health and developmental
disabilities.
*Any Mahasaka County resident in need of assistance
may apply for services. Each program listed above
has its own set of eligibility criteria. Please contact
