ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

MAHASKA COUNTY ATTORNEY’S OFFICE

          The Mahaska County Attorney seeks qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant.  The office is busy and fast paced.  It is anticipated this position will require forty (40) hours per week.  Duties of the position will include, but not be limited to, general secretarial duties, criminal case file management, preparation of Trial Informations for felonies and indictable misdemeanors, crime victim notification, and filing deadline compliance.

          Knowledge of and experience with technology in both the County Attorney’s Office and the courtroom setting is preferred.  Time management and organizational skills are a top priority.  Verbal communication skills and assisting the public is a must.

          Salary is based upon experience.  A criminal history and background check are required.
